This year's Heat Transfer Symposium (HTSJ2025) was held internationally in Okinawa. Twenty members from our lab, including 3 members from Mouterde Lab, participated and presented their research findings.

The organized session “Understanding and Controlling Wetting Phenomena,” led by Prof. Shiomi and Lecturer Yaerim as organizing committee members for the fourth consecutive year, was once again a great success. This year, we were honored to host keynote lectures by Prof. Hao Wang from Peking University and Prof. Amy Shen from OIST, which sparked lively discussions and attracted significant attention.

In addition to fruitful academic exchanges, we enjoyed memorable activities such as a joint BBQ at Tropical Beach with members from Suzuki Lab and Nomura Lab, making our experience in Okinawa even more enjoyable!
